  2.                               "PLAY TOGETHER!"
  3.  
  4.    Computer game PLATO ("PLAy TOgether") ver. 3.2  from  16.10.1992  is  one
  5. from the series of cooperative games designed and implemented by PimSoft.
  6.    This is the only game in which you may play TOGETHER  WITH  your  friend,
  7. not against.
  8.  
  9.                       Main ideas of cooperative games.
  10.  
  11.    1. Two persons play simultaneously at the same computer.
  12.    2. Each player controls his/her object independently.
  13.    3. Players cooperate against the third part - computer.
  14.    4. Players can  win  only  if  they  coordinate  their  efforts,  develop
  15. cooperative strategies and help each other.

  17.                            The plot of the game.
  18.  
  19.    The players control two personages who play against evil creatures.  Each
  20. personage can move around the screen between the bricks  and  can  push  one
  21. brick at a time.
  22.    However, one of them can push bricks only up and down, another one  -  to
  23. the left and to the right. On one hand, each  player  has  full  freedom  of
  24. action, but on the other hand, very quickly the players understand that they
  25. have to cooperate with one another.
  26.    Creatures are aggressive and any contact with them is mortal.
  27.    The situation of the game creates common interests on the  basis  of  the
  28. same goal. Communicating during the game to achieve this  goal  the  players
  29. unite.

  31.                            The goal of the game.
  32.  
  33.    The goal of the game is to lock the creatures up with bricks.
  34.    As a result of the game, partners learn a  very  important  skill  -  the
  35. ability to listen to and to understand each other, to think not  only  about
  36. oneself, but also about one's partner; to forgive  faults  and  to  help  to
  37. correct them.
  38.    And we all need this skill so much!

  40.    The game is appropriate for children from 6 to 32.

  42.                          Requirements to hardware.
  43.  
  44.    To run the game you need IBM PC AT with EGA/VGA; about 125 Kb on  a  disk
  45. and about 250 Kb in RAM.
  46.    To run the game type: RUNME.BAT <Enter>.

  48.                             Distribution.
  49.  
  50.     The game PLATO may be freely copied and distributed.

  52.    The only restriction is to distribute and to copy all the files together:
